DVD-ROM: The MDV-07D is a 2007 version update Navigation disc for compatible Eclipse Navigation units. The DVD Map ver.2.1 (MDV-07D) can be used to update the following Eclipse Navigation Systems - AVN2454, AVN5435, AVN30D, AVN5500, AVN50D, AVN20D, and the AVN600. The DVD-ROM’s data has been compiled as of December 2005. The POI category now has increased to 8.55 million points and City Maps cover more areas.

im looking to update the map on my AVN2454 because there has been a few times when I was unable to locate a certain new places on the NAV. However, why did they want so much for a damn DVD disc? Is Eclipse or Crutchfield on crack or something? I do realized that the disc comes with firmware update as well, but regardless, $329 is way too expensive for a DVD.
