Garmin Nuvi 250W GPS Navigation System
The nüvi 250W from Garmin makes navigation even easier with a 4.3″ widescreen display that has a 480×272 pixel resolution. The added screen real estate provides greater detail and more information to be shown. The TFT screen with white backlight makes it easy to see in virtually all lighting conditions.
The 250W comes with City Navigator NT street maps built in, containing a large points of interest (POI) database including hotels, restaurants, gas station, ATMs and more. Plus, you can enter your own POIs such as school zones and safety cameras. Once they’ve been entered you can set proximity alarms to warn you of upcoming POIs.
Garmin goes beyond navigation with added features like a JPEG picture viewer, world clock with time zones, currency and measurement converters and more. The SD card slot lets you add travel guides for your trips. The Garmin Lock anti-theft feature disables the unit if stolen.
