It’s mounted on the Wrangler’s dashboard in a sleek custom cradle that provides power and audible voice prompts through powerful dedicated speakers that are easy to hear even at highway speeds with the top down. For on-foot adventures, simply snap the unit out of the cradle for handheld GPS navigation.

Loaded with detailed, street-level maps of the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, the Trail Guide contains nearly six million points of interest including gas stations, lodging, restaurants, attractions, and Jeep service facilities and dealers.

Also features a high-resolution color TFT display, automatic route calculation, and turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions. Completely waterproof and has an internal lithium-ion battery, providing up to 20 hours of use outside the cradle for hiking, biking, camping, or fishing. The unique antenna folds flush with the unit when not in use for maximum compactness. The unit also accepts Garmin’s MapSource? U.S. Topo data for off-road adventures.

Trail Guide? Navigation System is an advanced, yet affordable way to add Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to your vehicle. And because Trail Guide is portable, you can remove the hand-held module from the custom docking station and explore the great outdoors. Trail Guide features a color transflective TFT display, full mapping, turn-by-turn instructions and directional voice prompts for convenient routing.

Additional features include integrated GPS antenna, trip information and much more. Trail Guide is also preprogrammed with detailed map information for the entire United States. Trail Guide also includes a rechargeable internal lithium-ion battery that provides up to 20 hours of use outside of the vehicle. This custom docking station features dual speakers that broadcast voice instructions and functions as a battery charging station. It also features a covered storage area for your Trail Guide module and a sliding cover with Jeep.
