The Palm GPS Navigator Car Kit cradle with microphone, speaker, and echo and noise cancellation DSP electronics allows you to make speakerphone calls while charging your Treo smartphone and holding it securely in place. The suction-mounted cradle is easy to install and remove right on your dashboard. The car kit can also be setup for automatic hands-free call answering.

The Palm GPS Navigator Car Kit cradle integrates a SiRFstarIII powered GPS receiver for accurate location data, plus it features TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 software for voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions. You can also navigate Tele Atlas maps covering the United States and Canada, including millions of points of interest.

For Treo 680 and Treo 700p owners who want a navigation and hands-free solution, the Palm GPS Navigator Car Kit offers ease of use and accurate directions, but once again, we wish it were less expensive.

Doesn’t look like Palm will be busting out any new phones at CTIA, but they did announce a new GPS thingy for Treo 680 and Treo 700p smartphones. The GPS Navigator Car Kit is a GPS attachment designed to cradle your Treo for in-car use. Comes with TomTom NAVIGATOR software and a 1GB SD card preloaded with maps of the US and Canada. Retail price should be $299.
